Being young and energetic all our life is something that not only our generation desires but this is something which is inscribed in our history too. One of its kinds, The Fountain of Youth is considered as the legendary spring that reputedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks of its waters. This legend become particularly famous in the year the 16th century when it became attached to the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon first Governor of Puerto Rico. Ponce de Leon was searching for the Fountain of Youth when he travelled to what is now Florida in 1513. Our life span has definitely increased, but as compared to the earlier days our focused has definitely shifted from quality to quantity. But if not given due importance to the ever changing aging trends, we might have to face fatal consequences.
Our body’s resistance power declines as we grow older for example diseases such as osteoporosis, arthritis, and other serious and often painful bone and joint diseases are much more common as we get older. However looking at these changing aging trends we are on the threshold of getting stuck in this whole web of questions pertaining to the exasperation of aging.
Diet plays an extremely important role in keeping our body fit and strong. Researchers have concluded that substantial intake of vitamin D gives us the desired results. It may keep our muscles and bones strong and in the due process shield the required physical function. This conclusion was contradicted by various other studies which were not too supportive of this research.
